Kos-Kooks: Declaration of Independence “scary”

The Kos-Kooks have spotted a quotation of the Declaration of Independence on a USDOJ website devoted to the PATRIOT Act, and they don’t like it apparently:

Did you know that…

“USA PATRIOT” stands for “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism”?

And did you know that the PATRIOT Act has its very own website, “Preserving life and liberty” is the website’s motto; they have the following excerpt from the Declaration of Independence in the banner at the top of the website:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted…

If you think that’s scary, keep that in mind as you read the big news that you may have missed…

Yeah, but how dare anyone question their patriotism!
