Somebody needs a vacation

La Shawn Barber posts:

Arnold paraphrased: Pardon my English. I didn’t say closing; I said securing, securing the California-Mexico border. Please don’t be mad at me.

This is why I could never be a politician. What’s wrong with closing the border to illegal aliens but opening it to legal immigrants? Is it me? Maybe I need a vacation.

Good point about being a politician, but we think she's being a little hard on the Gov. When we hear "closing the border" it sounds like nobody comes in, legal or illegal. "Securing the border" means keep the illegals out, but allow legitimate traffic, which is what we want. It seemed to be a reasonable clarification. Let's not be too quick to pounce when at least he's addressing the issue in the right direction.
