We mentioned a story a couple of weeks ago about an 11 year old girl in Fresno who was charged with a felony for throwing a rock at another kid. We offered the case as an example of hyper-legalism run amok.
Little Maribel Cuevas is now going to trial for felony assault with a deadly weapon. Perhaps with this great criminal menace behind bars, the good people of Fresno will again be able to walk the streets of their city in peace.
