In a post today titled "The rising civilian death toll in Iraq" (we won't link to obcenity-laced hate sites, you can search for it, if you feel the need), one of the Kos-Kooks quotes the NY Times:
Iraqi civilians and police officers died at a rate of more than 800 a month between August and May, according to figures released in June by the Interior Ministry.
....
While the figures were not broken down month by month, it has been clear since the government of Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari took over after the Jan. 30 election that the insurgency is taking an increasing toll, killing Iraqi civilians and security workers at a faster rate.
The post begins with the line: "What is the price of Bush's lies? The price is paid in human blood:"
Terrorists in Iraq are murdering innocent Iraqis? It's the terrorists' fault, right? No, blame President Bush. He is the cause of All Bad Things. He's no doubt responsible for the bombings in London as well. These folks are apparently incapable of any original thought. This is nothing but a restatement of "Bush lied, people died", the same tired garbage they've been mindlessly chanting for 3 years now. Of course he didn't lie, but the far left is obviously inconvincible on this point. It's like arguing against a bigot - like trying to convince a racist that black people really aren't inferior. It can't be done; bigotry is by definition irrational.
The deranged minions of The Daily Kos and like-minded websites hate President Bush, all else is secondary - even to the point of blaming him for the murderous acts of the terrorists.
(For those who may be tempted to jump to the conclusion that we're saying any opposition to the war in Iraq equals bigotry, let us explicitly state here that is not what we're saying at all. Any misunderstanding is your fault.)

I would invite the readers here to see this essay over at Roger L. Simon's that addresses the misguided LL and the MSM who are "rooting" for the enemy in the GWOT. They're so enraged with President Bush they can't see straight nor see the forest for the trees. I feel soooo sorry for them. Maybe more counseling and therapy. Perhaps we could have them have "bonding session" with the enemy. Perhaps they will leave with their heads intack.
How to Lose a War
What more do the leftist and the MSM want?

It is always Israel or the United States that
everyone blames.
You people are unbelievable, instead of pointing
your fingers at the people that are trying to tear
down our countries, you choose to point fingers at
the people that are trying to protect you.
God says in Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject
unto the higher powers. For there is no power but
of God:
Love in Christ,
Nita
