Any goodwill that has come my way, and there has been an overwhelming support from Republicans who are highly indignant about this as well as some Democrats, but any goodwill accrues to my wife. Not to me. And my wife has made it very clear that—she has authorized me to say this—she would rather chop off her right arm than say anything to the press and she will not allow herself to be photographed. So while I believe she would make a wonderful politician, it is tough to run a campaign if you're not talking to the press and you're not being photographed. (http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3131258/)

Let me get this straight.
The 43rd President of the United States,
President in a war against Terror and WMD’S,
The President that said he will find the leakier of a covert CIA agent and fire him/her.
Went to war in Iraq which 1,700 troops have died and wound 10,000 for life.
Now about Karl Rove.
A man with top secret clearance.
Did not know that Wilson’s wife was a CIA Agent involved with WMDS!
ROVE did not give up her name, but referred to her as Wilson’s wife that
worked on WMD's at the CIA. WOW!!!
You must think Americans are stupid to fly that response up the flag pole.
This is why America will lose the War and the World by a real credibility
gap larger then the Colorado river.
I think Rove, Miller, and Novak should all be fired. PERIOD
Man - Who wants democracy when it looks, sounds and runs like the US.
GOD will need to Bless America

Ron, please!
Do you work in the government? Have you ever had a clearance? Do you know what compartmentalization of information is? Are you a, blame America first, liberal?
If you don't want a democracy that looks, sounds and runs like the U.S. may I suggest Pakistan or Egypt?

The Photos Valerie Plame WOULDN'T ALLOW!
I confess. I have been studiously avoiding the whole Valerie Plame drama, frankly, due to a shameful lack of interest on my part. But, this, courtesy of the Unalienable Right, is just too rich to pass up. (Via .) Valerie...

That's funny - I've held a top secret clearance for years and nobody told me Plame worked at the CIA. Isn't everyone with a TS clearance supposed to know everything about everything?
Yeah. Anyone who thinks that clearly knows not of what he speaks.

BTW this is another Ron and not the Ron above.
OK folks where are the LL and the MSM in showing their outrage on the recent atrocity of this religion of peace as some pretend it to be.
I don't give a rip above the Rove Affair. It's just a tempest in a teapot but the LL and the MSM are stuck on it like flies on poop.
Give me a break while there are major events in world history occurring at this very moment. LL and MSM - PULL OUT!
This is not a time for apologists nor the LL and the MSM "rooting" for the enemy in the GWOT.
Do you want to help?
Well here's your chance. See this comment at LGF and drive this story to the American people and the free world. And in so doing ram it down the throats of the LL and the MSM that are so blind they cannot see.
Lord help us and MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!
[Of course of your choosing or not]
We need to drive the story of the Iranian Journalist Akbar Ganji to the Am people and the free world.

I don't recall any Republicans using that very same logic when it came to a little stain on a dress!
Um, are you a HYPOCRITE?

"That’s funny - I’ve held a top secret clearance for years and nobody told me Plame worked at the CIA. Isn’t everyone with a TS clearance supposed to know everything about everything?"
What a childishly stupid argument. It's like saying "since I can't play outfield for the Yankees, nobody can play outfield for the Yankees," when, in fact, the Yankees have many outfielders... Your limitations are not Rove's limitations. Nor were your limitations, my limitations.
When I worked for the Air Force I had a Top Secret clearence and access to classified information is on a "valid need to know" basis. Nobody told me anything I didn't have a "valid need to know," but anything that was considered "valid need to know" information I had. However, because *I* didn't have a valid need to know about many things, doesn't mean that the my superior officers, including the President and his advisors, for example, didn't.
Rove is the TOP ADVISOR to the President and has a Top Secret clearence. There is literally nothing regarding national security that the President, and by extension, his top advisor(s) do not have a "valid need to know." We also know that Rove did, in fact, have access to the information and was present when Ms. Plame was discussed in the capacity of her WMD duties. Specifically during a briefing conducted on Air Force One by Colin Powell. (Hence the special prosecutor's supeona of the AF1 telephone logs.)

"NO CRIME WAS COMMITTED" -- MSM (in secret)
Because...she hadn't done any covert work in nearly a decade (statute of limitations, so-to-speak, runs out at 5 yrs.),...
...and, because...she had been "outed" TWICE before, once by the CIA themselves (by accident, of course)
and the MSM, in trying to defend their colleague Miller, have said as much in a "friend of the court" brief:
http://beldar.blogs.com/beldarblog/2005/03/journalists_ami.html
http://www.bakerlaw.com/files/tbl_s10News/FileUpload44/10159/Amici%20Brief%20032305%20(Final).PDF
Democrats have no credibility with me anymore, at all.
